No, all the technical material is included in the activity. Suit your boots and mountain clothes.
Am I always insured?
Yes, at all times. You carry in the harness a device called a heat sink that attaches to a steel cable and allows me to ascend safely. You also have a safety rope that the guide handles during the whole journey.

Yes. The via ferratas are revised and re-equipped every year, repairing the damage and cleaning the route.
